Mumbai: The administration of the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra, has issued a notice appealing the devotees not to wear small clothes to visit the temple. They enter the temple in Indian costumes. The fight has arisen over this dress code. Social activist Trupti Desai has challenged the temple administration saying that if the notice is not removed by 10 December, then she will remove it herself.

Talking to a private channel, Trupti said that it is wrong to put a notice by the administration of Sai Baba temple. If this rule is applicable then it can happen in other temples of the country. After this, a changing room will have to be arranged there, where Indian costumes will be given on rent. It is feared to be looted with devotees.

There is no explanation of the small clothes in the notice. Desai said that no notice has been given in the notice issued by the temple administration about the small clothes because if so, the temple priests also wear semi-nude clothes, such rule should also apply to them. Trupti Desai said, 'I challenge the temple administration that if the notice is not removed from the board till December 10, I will go and remove it myself.'
