Washington: Amid growing tension between Washington, Turkey has said that it will close the Inverlic Airbase if the US imposes a ban on it. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has given a clear warning that if the US imposes any kind of sanctions, then it will be sent in the same language. Please tell that this airbase is located in the Turkish city of Adana. The US Air Force uses it.

For information, let us tell you that the tension between Washington and Ankara was seen after the withdrawal of US forces from Syria and the continued attack on Kurds in northern Syria by Turkey. However, the initiative was also taken by the US to normalize these relations. Two months ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to US President Donald Trump on the phone. After this, US Vice President Mike Pence traveled to Turkey on October 19 for a ceasefire in Syria.

The goal of his visit was to stop the Turkish invasion of northern Syria. The visit took place at a time when Turkey was continuing its attacks on Kurds in northern Syria, ignoring the urges of Europe and America. The Vice President had also met Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan and urged for peace, but it was only hours after his visit that Turkey again attacked North Syria. This American effort also failed.
