Recently, TV actress Preksha Mehta committed suicide on Monday night in Indore. People in her family say that "Preksha was not getting work in the lockdown". In this disappointment, she did this. Preksha worked in TV serials in Mumbai and she also acted in several episodes of Crime Patrol serial. Her father says that due to the lock down, Preksha came home.

Apart from TV serial, Preksha worked for theater and she started theater with drama group 'Drama Factory' of Abhijeet Wadkar, Santosh Rege and Nagendra Singh Rathore. Apart from this, Manto's play 'Khol Do' was her first play and after the overwhelming response, she appeared in plays like 'Sundar Bahu, Boondein, Rakshas, Pratibimbit, partners, Haan, Adoori Aurat'. She also got first prize for acting in three national theater festivals.

She also won the award for her performance in the solo play 'Sadak Kinare'. According to the news, she was in depression and just before her death she uploaded a status on Instagram.She wrote "Sabse Bura Hota Hai Sapno Ka Mar Jana" Due to the corona virus, there are many artists like Preksha Mehta who are worried about work. Police is now investigating this matter.
