Many remakes of popular Marathi tv show have enthralled Indian television audiences in several languages. Another famous Marathi television show, Aggabai Sasubai, is slated to be remade in Kannada in the coming years.

The Kannada version's title has yet to be determined by the show's producers, although pre-production work is presently ongoing. The Tamil version of Aggabai Sasubai's 'Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal' is already delighting Tamil viewers. Aggabai Sasubai had been gaining the hearts of the audience from its debut, for the uninitiated. With its unusual twists and turns, the programme has kept audiences entertained. Now it will be fascinating to see how the Kannada audience will be entertained.

Aggabai Sasubai is a family drama, according to the show's idea. Shubhra (Tejashri Pradhan) has a close relationship with her widowed mother-in-law Asavari (Nivedita Saraf). Shubra makes every effort to remarry the latter. However, Asavari's pampered son Soham (Ashutosh Patki) as opposed to her remarriage. He attempts to put a stop to it. A hotelier named Raje (Girish Oak) later falls in love with Asavari and marries her. The rest of the storey revolves around Soham's response to this.

Apart from Aggabai Sasubai, Doctor Karna, a Kannada adaptation of Devmanus' Marathi programme, will air soon.
Raja Ranichi G Jodi, Devmanus, Honaar Sunn Me Hya Gharchi, and many other Marathi programmes have been remade in many languages.
