Describing her birthday, Divyanka says, 'Birthday for me means spending time with people I love. Even though I have a lot of work, but I like to take a break on this day. I do not have a plan, but Vivek must have made a plan. The biggest birthday present for me is that the entire focus of Vivek is always on me'.

Talking about 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', she adds, 'I and this show have given each other heart and soul. It is absolutely like bidding farewell to a real person. Every show has to be closed one day. I am glad that our show has got a good ending with good ratings. I will always cherish the relationships that I have formed through the show. I would like to thank my co-stars, producers, my husband and all the fans who helped me to be a part of this show. This was a turning point in my life.'

Working for six consecutive years in a single show is a very long time. Divyanka said that after working continuously, saturation happens after time. She says, 'The actor feels emotionally empty as she has given all the possible changes to his character during this period and remembers the challenges she faced at the beginning of the show. During my show, I always kept reminding myself that my character, Ishita, is a real person to my fans. My small omission would be an injustice to her fans.'
