New Delhi: The Twitter account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal website is reported to be hacked. The hacker demanded Bitcoin in a donation for the Covid-19 relief fund, which shows that the account has been hacked. This tweet has been deleted soon after. On the Twitter account of the Prime Minister's personal website, the tweet associated with cryptocurrency has been written. It has been told through this message that, "I appeal to you guys to donate to PM Modi Relief Fund for Covid-19".

In another tweet, the hacker wrote, "This account has been hacked by John Wick (hckindia@tutanota.com). We have not hacked Paytm Mall". The verified Twitter account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal website has more than 25 lakh followers. The name of the hacker group who hacked the personal website is John Wick. On 30 August, cybersecurity firm Saibal claimed that John Wick Group was involved in the theft of data from Paytm Mall.

Paytm Mall Unicorn is Paytm's e-commerce company and Cyber had claimed that this hacker group demanded ransom. Paytm had said that during the investigation there was no incident like a burglary in the data. Before this, a similar incident took place in July. The twitter account of several big personalities, including Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Gates and Elon Musk, was compromised in that incident.
