On Tuesday, users of the microblogging service Twitter awoke to an unexpected surprise: the traditional blue bird logo had been replaced with the "doge" meme. Elon Musk, the company's CEO, announced the upgrade in a post and replied, "As promised." Musk shared a hilarious post on his account wherein the 'doge' meme in the car and telling the police officer, who appears to be seeing his driving license, that his photo has been changed.

Musk asks the user if the need for a new platform exists, to which the user responds that Musk should purchase Twitter and swap out the blue bird emblem for a Doge. According to media sources, Dogecoin's value increased by about 30% after Twitter switched to the dog meme as its home page logo.

The Shiba Inu dog meme, which also serves as the symbol for the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, has taken the place of the social networking platform's blue bird. Strangely, the switch to Doge is only apparent on the Twitter website and not on the Twitter app.
On Twitter, the new "doge" meme has received a lot of feedback. Funny memes have been posted by internet users on the microblogging platform.

"Tweet tweet turned into woof woof!" A bluebird and doge were depicted in a commenter's image.
Another user wrote, “Looks like #Floki is doing a pretty good job as CEO!

The algorithm used by Twitter is now open-source and might favour Elon Musk
