New Delhi: Twitter has also removed the Blue Badge (Blue Tick) from the accounts of several senior rss (RSS) functionaries. The Blue Badge is no longer visible on the Twitter accounts of RSS's All India Publicity Chief Arun Kumar, Sarkaryavah Suresh Joshi, co-Sarkaryavah Suresh Soni and Krishnagopalji. The social media platform has not explained the reason for this at the moment.
Earlier, Twitter had also removed the blue tick from Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu's personal verified account. However, shortly thereafter the Vice President's Twitter handle was returned with blue tick. According to Twitter, blue verified ticks on Twitter tell people that there is public interest on an authentic account. Twitter recently resumed its Blue Tick verification process and has also started removing the blue badge by cross-checking old accounts.
Under this, blue ticks are no longer visible on the Twitter handles of many senior officials of the RSS. On the other hand, after returning the blue tick to M. Venkaiah Naidu, the blue badge is now reappearing on his Twitter handle. Let us tell you that to get a blue tick, your account must be authentic, notable, and active.
