While we all know AR Murugadoss as a fine director, who has given us some of the greatest hits like Ramana, Ghajini, Kaithi and Thuppakki, he has also done cameo appearances in his films. While he has special appearances in his own films like 7am Arivu, Thuppakki, Kaththi, Sarkar and in films like Maan Karate and NOTA, Murugadoss recently took to his social media account to share a video clip from a film he first appeared in.

The film, Poochudava (1997), which starred Abbas and Simran in the lead role, was directed by Udayasankar, but had Murugadoss writing the dialogues for the film. But what's interesting is that he not just wrote for the film, but also did a small cameo appearance. In the video clip he shared, the director appeared as a server in the scene, which also had Nagesh, PC Ramakrishna and Simran. During the course of the scene, Nagesh asks him for his name, to which he responds saying, Murugadoss. The director posted this clip and captioned it saying, "Store room memories."

With the director getting a lot of love for this throwback video, this clip is now becoming viral on social media. On the workfront, Trisha-starrer Raangi, for which Murugadoss has written the script, is awaiting release. There is also a strong buzz that he will be directing popular actor Ram Pothineni for his next.
