Ayush ministry has been approved a offer for setting up two Ayurvedic hospitals in rural areas of Kanpur district under the National Ayush Mission.

Initially, the hospital will be establish  in Bithur and Bilaur with 50 and 15 bed capacity.

K R Sharma,who is the District Magistrate of Kanpur  said that, “The ministry has approved the proposal to set up Ayurvedic hospitals in Nigoha village of Bilaur and Sighpur village of Bithur and work on it will begin soon,"

"The ministry has approved a sum of Rs 9 crore for setting up the hospitals," he said.

He further said that, “The setting up of the two hospital in the area will promote the ancient science of Ayurveda and bring relief to villagers here who are dependent on cities for health-care facilities, “
