Two Boys Die After Being Hit by Train While Playing Games on Railway Track

Raipur: In a tragic accident in Durg district, Chhattisgarh, two 14-year-old boys were killed after being struck by a train. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the Risali area of the Padmanabhpur police station. The victims, Puran Sahu and Veer Singh, both from Risali Sector in Bhilai, were sitting on the railway track engrossed in games on their mobile phones.

The boys, so absorbed in their mobile games, failed to notice the approaching Dalli Rajhara-Durg local train. The train’s horn went unheard, leading to both boys being hit and killed on the spot. The train collision resulted in immediate fatalities as the boys were unable to move off the track in time.

Upon being notified, the police swiftly arrived at the scene, where they sent the bodies for post-mortem and initiated an investigation. The authorities are now examining the circumstances surrounding the incident to understand how such a tragic accident occurred.
