Ranchi: Alcohol addiction brings sin with it. In Jharkhand, a case of murder of a drunk man has come to light in Khunti. Two brothers beat a man to death with a stick under the influence of alcohol. The case is of Tilma village in the Maranghada police station area. The drunken brawl is said to have taken such a toll that it reached the murder incident.
In fact, both brothers Suku Mahato and Shibu Mahato were drinking with Vijay Pahan in Tilma village of Jharkhand. This led to a quarrel over something. Under the influence of alcohol, the two brothers killed Vijay Pahan in the courtyard of their house. Vijay Pahan's family had gone to their in-laws. Vijay Pahan was alone in the house due to which Suku and Shibu went to his house.
According to residents, the trio already drank together and then started drinking together. There was a quarrel over something because of drinking alcohol. After a dispute, Suku Mahato and Sibu Mahato hit Vijay Pahan one after the other with three sticks, killing him in an inebriated state. Vijay Pahan was friend of Suku Mahato and Sibu Mahato. The case is of Tilma village on Sunday night. In an inebriated state, Suku Mahato took out the stick and killed Vijay Pahan, but when he regained consciousness, he lost his senses.
