Andhra Pradesh: After leaving school in Srikakulam on Wednesday afternoon, all four went to a pond near the village to collect puja items. After taking the puja material, they went to take a bath. Vanaj, and Sirisha and Yamuna were taking a bath and Yashashree went inside a little.

 Yashshree's sister Vanaja saw this and immediately went inside the pond and brought the girl to the shore. She tried to save Yamuna and went underwater with her. The children on the shore ran away and after not coming out for a long time, informed the family about the matter. He was immediately taken to Srikakulam RIMS in 108. However, doctors examined and confirmed that both were dead.

 On getting information about the matter, Laveru police station in-charge SI Rajesh and HC Rama Rao visited the village Yatapeta and inspected the pond. Two girls, Pentamani Vanaja (9) and Vanumu Yamuna (9) drowned in a traumatic incident on Wednesday in Yatapeta village of Laveru Mandal area. According to SI Rajesh, Laveru police station in-charge Pentamani Vanja (9), Vanumu Yamuna (9), Pentamani Yashashree and Sirisha were studying in the primary school of the village. Meanwhile, parents and family members mourn the death of Vanaja and Yamuna. The villagers asked the relatives how the accident happened.
