Islamabad: A strange case has come to light from Karachi in Pakistan where two pet dogs have been sentenced to death. The sentence was given because both the dogs had hacked a senior lawyer and injured him. In fact, according to media reports, the case is from Karachi. A senior lawyer, including a morning walk in a posh locality where he was suddenly attacked by two dogs.

The lawyer has been identified as Mirza Akhtar and the two dogs are German shepherds. However, after the incident, the owner of the dogs Humayun Khan had also apologised to advocate Akhtar. The death penalty awarded to the two pet dogs found guilty is under an out-of-court agreement between the lawyer and the pet owner, the report said. The lawyer said the two dogs brutally attacked them without any provocation and badly injured them.

According to reports, the agreement was reached between the lawyer and the dog owner to resolve the dispute. Advocate Mirza Akhtar has agreed to pardon dog owner Humayun Khan on certain conditions. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. The video shows the lawyers attacking them as soon as they left the front of the house. The agreement also points out that Humayun Khan and his family will not keep any dangerous or cruel dog as pets in the house.
