Shahdol: A big news story is coming out of Madhya Pradesh: there has been a major accident at the Singhpur railway station today (Wednesday). In this, a goods train collided with another standing goods train. This accident is at the Singhpur railway station of the Shahdol sub-division of the South East Central Railway's Bilaspur zone. One locomotive pilot has died and another is injured in this accident. At the same time, other employees were also injured.

After the collision, the engines of the goods trains caught fire. This accident happened at around 7.15 a.m. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the railway officers and employees started the rescue work, and fire tenders reached the scene. Let us tell you that the engine was also installed on the rear side of the Gulf goods train. During this, another goods train collided, and three coaches of the goods train were overturned. Due to the collision of the goods trains, the goods train standing on the other track was also damaged.

Due to this accident, rail traffic on this route has been affected; all four lines of the Katni-Bilaspur rail section have been closed. A video of the incident has surfaced, in which the engines are seen on fire. Let us tell you that the name of the deceased loco pilot is Rajesh Prasad. The second locopilot and other injured employees have been sent to Shahdol Medical College for treatment.
