Abu Dhabi, November 9: UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a decree establishing the Board of Trustees for Erth Zayed Philanthropies, chaired by Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This newly formed board aims to strengthen UAE’s global humanitarian and philanthropic efforts, furthering the country’s mission of giving and sustainable development.
The board includes key figures, such as Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Chairman of The Founder's Office; and Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrui, Minister of Community Development. Other members include Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Rashid Saeed Al Ameri, Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, and Saeed Rashid Al Zaabi, all of whom play significant roles in UAE’s strategic and humanitarian fields.
Vice President Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the UAE’s dedication to advancing humanitarian and developmental efforts on an international scale. He noted that this new board will help enhance the UAE’s philanthropic ecosystem, collaborating with organizations in the Erth Zayed network to create positive global impact.
Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed that Erth Zayed Philanthropies represents the UAE's ongoing commitment to preserving the humanitarian legacy of the nation's founder, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He emphasized that the board will continue Zayed’s mission to support communities worldwide in achieving sustainable development goals and fostering unity.
The board’s strategic initiatives will be aimed at creating sustainable, impactful humanitarian programs. Under the guidance of President Mohamed bin Zayed, Erth Zayed Philanthropies was established as an independent legal foundation with the responsibility to oversee various humanitarian entities and advance charitable causes globally.
