App-based taxi service Uber added a new feature of sign language in the mobile app, considering the convenience of its drivers and passenger. With this new feature, the user will be able to communicate better with those drivers, which is unable to listen.
Sign language will facilitate
a large number of deaf drivers work in the cab service. With this new feature, if the rider does a cab book and the driver of that cab is deaf, then the option of American Sign Language will be seen in the app. There will be gestures like Hello, My name is X, Thank You, Turn Right and Turn Left. So that he can better communicate with the driver.
Changes made earlier in the application
Earlier, Uber had made some improvements in the application of the deaf driver and passenger facility in the app, in which if the passenger's driver is deaf, then the information is given to the passenger after booking the drive. Also, by disabling the voice feature, the user is directed to communicate with the drivers through the message. There are thousands of deaf drivers working in the US. For the convenience of which Uber brings such new features so that the passenger and the drivers do not face any problem during the ride.
