UC survey: 87 percent says 'Janata curfew' was successful, 84 percent want to continue

New Delhi: Janata curfew was observed across the country on 22 March on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this time people stayed in homes and clapped and played thali outside their houses at five o'clock in the evening. On this occasion, UC Browser conducted a survey among digital users. In response to two questions asked in this, 87% people believed that the event was successful in the country. With this, 84% of the people clearly said that this Janata curfew should be kept in force throughout the country for more days. Significantly, along with the world, the number of people suffering from corona in India is continuously increasing.

In view of the public curfew, UC had asked whether its event was successful, which was answered by 57 thousand 182 people. Out of this, 49 thousand 892 people said that the event was successful while 7 thousand 291 people said that it was not successful.

Similarly, UC asked its users whether the public curfew should be released for a few more days. So 72 thousand 399 people answered this. Out of this, 60 thousand 898 people said that it should be extended for a long time. Also, 11 thousand 442 were against it.
