The film industry is also ready to follow the lockdown in Maharashtra. You all must be aware that there has been a 15-day lockdown in Maharashtra. The lockdown has stopped the shooting of many films and this has led to a crisis of snatching away the livelihood of daily wage earners in films. Now, amidst all this, it has come to light that the film industry has agreed to follow the 15-day lockdown rule, but at the same time, they have made a demand from Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

In fact, the people of the film industry want, "Just as CM Thackeray has promised financial assistance to rickshaw drivers and construction workers, he should also promise financial assistance to daily wage workers working in the film industry. According to some media reports, Ashok Dubey, associated with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, also spoke on the issue. He said, "We are going to follow the curfew. All shooting has been stopped till April 30, but we want the government to provide financial assistance to our daily wage workers. '

In addition, he also said, "We have a complete list containing details of all bank accounts. We can share this list with the government. The daily wage workers of the industry are at stake when the shooting stops or is on hold. We don't want another migration scenario, so we urge the CM to help our industry workers as they are in other sectors. Further, Ashok Dubey in his statement also said, "We want the government to allow us to build sets whose work has been left out midway due to lockdown. We will ensure that our people working on sets stay there till the work is completed and also follow the proper criteria of Covid-19. Now it has to be seen whether CM Udhav Thackeray believes this or not.
