Mumbai: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has said in an interview that he will continue to make a Shiv Sainik as CM. In this interview, Uddhav openly voiced his views on issues related to his son Aditya Thackeray, an alliance with the BJP. Uddhav Thackeray said, "Aditya Thackeray is contesting the election, it does not mean that I will sit silent. I will not retire from politics".

Uddhav Thackeray said that "I will fulfil my promise to Shiv Sena founder (Balasaheb Thackeray). I promised him that I would remain a Shiv Sainik as CM. I will not sit silent until this is done. Uddhav Thackeray said that we have been in power for the last 5 years. While in power, we always became the voice of the people. We continued to raise our voice against injustice. We will keep fighting for justice.

On forming an alliance with the BJP and getting 125 seats, Uddhav said, "To get something in the alliance, one has to lose some. But finally the result is seen, we need power. Yes, I have aligned for power, there is nothing like hiding in it. If this power remains, then I can give something to Shiv Sena workers in those 164 assembly constituencies, so I formed an alliance".
