The UGC-NET 2023 results are likely to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) this week. The results for the December 2022 cycle are expected to be released this week at any time. Candidates can check their results on the board's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in
It is to be noted that 8,34,537 candidates registered to take the UGC Net exams this year. During the course of 16 days, the exam was administered in 5 phases at 663 locations across 186 cities. Part I of the tests took place from February 21 through February 24, and Phase II from February 28 through March 1 and 2. The Phase III exams took place between March 3 and March 6, Phase IV on March 11 and 12, and Phase V from March 13 to March 16, 2023.
UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility criteria of Indian nationals for 'Assistant Professor', 'Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' in Indian universities and colleges.
The Preliminary Answer Key(s) and the Question Paper with Recorded Answers were posted online earlier on March 23 by the NTA. Not only that, but the board had also made the preliminary answer key challengeable for Rs. 200 for each question that was raised.
The National Testing Agency has been administering the UGC-NET in computer-based test (CBT) modality since December 2018. Two times a year, in December and June, the UGC NET tests are administered.
