May 20,2016: In the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, five pilgrims involving three women were killed and a minor boy was seriously hurt on Friday when the car they were travelling in hit a culvert and overturned on Ujjain-Badnagar road.

Gopal Parmar, Badnagar Police Station Inspector said, “The victims were relatives of local Congress leader in Ratlam, Aditi Davesar, and were returning from the Simhastha Kumbh mela which is underway”

“Three of the victims --Prabha Dave, Asha Sharma and Ajay Mishra,died on the spot as Usha Dogra and driver Fareed submitted to injuries on their way to the hospital”, he said.

One of the injured recognized as Rudraksh Dave, is in a serious condition and has been hurried to a hospital in neighboring Indore district.
