Dehradun: There was a ruckus for the last few days over the UKSSSC paper leak in Uttarakhand. After the incident of paper leak of this recruitment examination came to light, the candidates were demanding the cancellation of the examination. Cm Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting on Wednesday regarding the UKSSSC examination. Chief Minister Dhami has announced the cancellation of the examination.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said after a review meeting on the paper leak case at the Secretariat on Wednesday that the recruitments in which evidence of irregularities has been found will be cancelled. He also said that the UKSSSC should speed up the investigation into the paper leak case and also directed that the property of the criminals, in this case, should be recovered. Cm Pushkar Singh Dhami also directed the officers to register a case against the culprits under the Gangster Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). He also said that the examinations in which evidence of irregularities have been found should be cancelled and the selection process should be started afresh. Chief Minister Dhami also ordered that the examinations which are being held with a clean process should not be disrupted.

He said that the appointment of the persons who have been selected through any scam should be cancelled and a case should be registered against them. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand also said that a chairman should be appointed for the better functioning of UKSSSC. Significantly, since the case of the UKSSSC paper leak came to light, there was a demand to cancel this recruitment examination.
