New Delhi: Zoho Corporation, a provider of software as a service, has unveiled Ulaa, a cross-platform web browser made in India. Based on Chromium, it employs DuckDuckGo as its default search engine, which prioritises privacy. Ulaa has a number of noteworthy features that set it apart from Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and other browsers in 2023. Here is all the information you need to know about Zoho's first web browser that prioritises privacy.

Google Chrome's rival in India is Zoho's Ulaa, according to this claim. The Chennai-based tech company is confident that Ulaa will support small business owners in protecting their online privacy, blocking advertisements, and securely accessing their work-related accounts without sacrificing functionality. The web browser is made to protect a person's personal information using built-in features that consistently block website surveillance.

Ulaa, a product of Zoho, is built on the Chromium platform, giving it access to all the top features found in browsers like Google Chrome. Ulaa's experience will be seamless, just like other Chromium-based browsers. You can also anticipate it to have all the security features found in other browsers. Additionally, it supports cross-platform syncing so you can access your search history across different devices.

Personal mode: It protects your privacy by providing secure logins and blocking tracking. Work mode: Using the strict ad blocker, it increases productivity, blocks websites that might be annoying, and even shields users from phishing attacks. In the "kids mode," a secure, vibrant user interface with parental controls is available. It is designed for experienced web testers and developers in developer mode. The "Open Season" mode enables Ulaa to act like typical browsers.

In contrast to Chrome, Ulaa uses DuckDuckGo for searches, which is turned on by default. A search engine called DuckDuckGo prioritises user privacy. Additionally, it makes sure that no pointless advertisements for a product you recently searched for on your browser appear in your window. You can select from a variety of search engines using Ulaa, including Bing, Google, Yahoo! India, and others.

A built-in ad blocker is available in the Ulaa web browser to stop advertisements from showing up on websites. But you can easily turn off the ad blocker by pressing a button. It makes it difficult to track or link to a user's browsing session because it uses the multi-ID model. To prevent online tracking, the browser has also turned off an API that connects to and communicates with devices that are connected to the internet.

On popular operating systems like Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, Ulaa can be downloaded for free. A number of built-in features are available on the desktop version, including Smart Tabs Grouping, Notes, a Tabs Manager, a Smart Dashboard, screen capture, a password manager, and more.

Google Chrome currently has a 63.45% market share, according to Statcounter. It is followed by Apple's Safari (20.48%), Microsoft Edge (4.97%), and Mozilla Firefox (2.76%). The market's current browsers use time trackers and idle monitors to provide information to companies that pay for user data. Ulaa does not, however, compromise users' online privacy. I'm hoping for a reasonable response.
