United Nations: In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Russia has pleaded with him to ask the Ukrainian government to shut down the neo-Nazi website Mirotvorets. A website called Mirotvorets, which is based in Kiev, publishes the personal information of people it considers to be hostile to Ukraine, effectively endangering their health and even their lives.

 According to the letter, Mirotvorets has so far published details about more than 240,000 people, some of whom are children, including their addresses, phone numbers, and other details.
In the letter, the Russian mission noted that the lack of United Nations involvement has led to a worsening of the situation with regard to exposure of people.

A Russian non-governmental organisation that works with children conducted research and found that the threat to the welfare of at least 327 of the children listed on the website is severe.
In October 2021 and January of the following year, the Russian mission to the United States brought up the matter with UNICEF's top officials. The mission reported that UNICEF's involvement was extremely formal and had no impact on the situation.
