The case of the assigned land sacking of Amravati has taken place in the case of many turns. Justice Manvendranath Roy, who reserved the verdict on Monday, heard arguments on the criminal petition filed by then Tulluru Emaovadi Anne Sudhir Babu seeking to hit out at the FIR filed by the CID against him, suddenly released the petition on Thursday. He said he was releasing this petition and ordered the registry to report it to another judge. The case files should be placed before the Chief Justice to make an administrative decision. The reasons for releasing the case reserved for the verdict are not known.
