Richa Chadha is facing criticism because of her one controversial tweet. Various people called it insulting to the Indian Army. Akshay Kumar and Vivek Agnihotri condemned actor Richa Chadha's now-deleted tweet on the violent face-off in Ladakh's Galwan Valley between Indian and Chinese soldiers.
Akshay Kumar wrote, "Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful toward our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain," Mr Kumar tweeted.

Vivek Agnihotri wrote, "I am not surprised at all with this behaviour. They genuinely feel anti-India. Dil ki baat jubaan pe aa hi jaati hai. And then they ask why people want to #BoycottBollywood #Shame."
Richa Chadha re-shared a tweet and captioned it, "Galwan says hi".Now the actress took to the social media to apologize. The actress wrote, "Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part."
She further added, "My Mamaji was a paratrooper. It's in my blood. A whole family is affected when a son is martyred or even injured while saving the nation which is made up of people like us and I personally know how it feels. It is an emotive issue for me." Filmmaker Ashok Pandit has filed a complaint against her at the Juhu police station. Ashoke Pandit on Thursday filed a complaint against the actor in Juhu Police Station in Mumbai, and urged for a First Information Report (FIR) to be registered against her.
