New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai responded to Rahul Gandhi's remarks on the security breach in Parliament, stating, "He himself does not understand what Rahul Gandhi says. Many schemes of the Prime Minister are benefiting this country. Poverty and unemployment are disappearing. Youth are getting employment." Rai emphasized that BJP has appointed Chief Ministers from Scheduled Castes and deprived communities after winning elections in three states.

Regarding the 2024 elections in Bihar, Nityanand Rai expressed confidence in BJP's strength, stating that there is no viable opposition in the state. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the driver of development, and asserted that the people of the country are prepared for Modi to become Prime Minister for the third time. Rahul Gandhi had attributed the security lapse in Parliament to unemployment and inflation, criticizing the Modi government's policies. He claimed that youth are not finding employment due to the government's approach.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh accused the BJP government of diverting attention from real issues and questioned why the Home Minister was unwilling to address the matter in the House. Ramesh implicated a BJP MP from Mysore in the security breach, alleging the provision of visitor passes to infiltrators. He characterized this as contempt of Parliament and criticized the violation of parliamentary traditions during the session.
