The results of the garbage free star rating have been announced by the center among lockdown 4. In the announcement made by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, Rajkot in Gujarat, Mysore in Karnataka, Indore in MP and Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra got 5-star rating.

In his statement, Hardeep Singh Puri said that Karnal, New Delhi, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Chandigarh, Bhilai Nagar and Ahmedabad are in cities with '3-star garbage free rating'. While Ahmedabad, Karnal, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Bhilai Nagar, Tirupati, Vijayawada have been included in the 3 star waste free rating while Delhi Cantt, Vadodara, Rohtak are 'one-star waste free cities'.

4970 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours across the country, whereas 134 people have died. The number of corona positive patients has increased to 1,01139. Out of which 58,802 are active, 39,174 people have become healthy and 3,163 people have died so far. 500 new cases have been reported in the capital Delhi and 127 in Karnataka.
