Union Minister Narayan Rane gets bail late at night, high voltage drama continues throughout the day

Mumbai: Union Minister Narayan Rane has been granted bail by the court. However, he has been asked to appear in Raigad on August 30 and September 6 next week. The court had earlier ordered Rane to be remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. Narayan Rane was arrested over a statement 'slapping' CM Uddhav Thackeray. After which the anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Ratnagiri court.

Not only that, the Union Minister was not relieved by the Bombay High Court. After which Narayan Rane was taken into custody by the police on Tuesday. However, shortly thereafter, he was arrested around 5 pm. Narayan Rane was then produced before the Mahad Magistrate's Court. However, he was granted bail at around 11.30 pm. Rane has been asked to pay a bailable bond of Rs 15,000 and appear in Raigad on August 30 and September 6.

The case was heard by Judge Sheikh Babaso S Patil. The court has asked the police to give seven days' notice before collecting samples of the Union minister's voice. Narayan Rane has been directed not to commit any crime. However, all this was not so simple either. The uproar continued throughout the day in Mumbai on Tuesday.
