Since the JNU violence, Bollywood has divided into two parts, some are in support and some are opposing. In such a situation, many people are now targeting Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who has come to support the students in JNU. Yes, she was accused by BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj recently and now Union Minister Smriti Irani has also targeted Deepika. Yes, recently Smriti Irani said that, "Deepika wants to cut the country, stood with her." Speaking on the JNU case in a recent program, Smriti Irani spoke fiercely on Deepika.

During this time he said, ""I think that anybody who has read the news knew where you are going to stand... knew that you are standing with people who celebrate every time a CRPF jawan is killed." She further added "I would rather know what her (Deepika Padukone's) political affiliation is than not know... I can't deny her that right that she will stand next to people who will beat up other girls who don't see eye-to-eye ideologically in private parts. That's her freedom.

Let me tell you that Smriti gave a statement on the JNU attack case and said, "Investigation is going on right now." It would not be right to say anything until the aspects of the investigation were put in front of the court by the police.
