Bhagalpur: Union Minister Ashwini Choubey's younger brother Nirmal died on Friday at Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Thereafter, the family members created a huge ruckus alleging negligence on the part of the hospital administration. In a hurry, two doctors were suspended. Nirmal Choubey was admitted to the hospital after complaining of a heart attack, he was retired from the Air Force. When the police assured of legal action, they calmed down and went home with the dead body.

Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey's younger brother Nirmal Choubey died on Friday in Mayaganj Hospital. In this case, two doctors on duty in the ICU have been suspended with immediate effect for being absent. Nirmal's son Nitesh Choubey told that his father started having chest pain and difficulty breathing at 4 pm at home. He was first admitted to Dr. MN Jha's unit in the emergency for treatment at around 4.30 pm. Where no doctor was there at the moment. Later, another doctor shifted Nirmal Choubey to the ICU, stating his condition as serious. 

According to Nitesh, when the father was admitted, there were no doctors there, and his health was continuously deteriorating. Even the attendant did not know what a BP machine is. Due to this, the father's health continued to deteriorate, but no doctor reached out for treatment. Where he died on Friday evening around six o'clock. Due to the uproar, Emergency In-charge Dr. Mahesh Kumar and then Superintendent of Mayaganj Hospital, Dr. Asim Kumar Das had to face the wrath. As soon as the information was received, the police reached and assured them of taking legal action upon receipt of the written complaint. Then the hospital superintendent suspended both doctors who were absent from duty.
