Something similar is going to happen in the United Kingdom (UK). In the UK, if a person is caught talking on the phone while driving, he must pay a hefty amount to the traffic police. While driving on the roads of Britain, while talking on the phone, a fine of 200 pounds or more than 18 thousand rupees will have to be paid.
According to the current law, a driver can be booked only when he is caught talking on the phone. But now you will be fined for using your phone for any reason while driving. That is, if the driver is caught talking on the phone, messaging, scrolling the phone to listen to music or even using social media, then he will have to pay 200 pounds fine.
