United States: The US is concerned about Iran's threats against Saudi Arabia and will not hesitate to respond if necessary, according to a White House spokesman on Tuesday.

"We are concerned about the threat picture, and we are in constant contact with the Saudis through military and intelligence channels," a National Security Council spokesman said. "We will not hesitate to act in defense of our regional interests and those of our partners."
