Tehran: The persecution of the Islamic government in Iran is not taking its name to stop. There is already a ruckus in Iran about not wearing the hijab and there are frequent protests. At the same time, after Mahsa Amini, the case of beating another girl to death has come to light. According to media reports, a 16-year-old student, Asra Panahi, was brutally beaten up by security forces at a school in Iran (October 13) only because the student had supported Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. I refused to sing the song. Since this incident, protests have become fierce in the country.

According to media reports, the Coordinating Council of the Iranian Teachers Trade Association has said that 'Asra Panahi, 16, died on 13 October 2022 after security forces raided Shahad Girls High School in Ardbil. In fact, a group of girls refused to sing a song in praise of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.' According to the association, 'When the girl student refused to sing the song, the security forces started thrashing the girl students, injuring several girls and they were taken to the hospital and the rest were arrested. On Friday (October 14, 2022), Panahi reportedly died in the hospital due to injuries.'

However, Iranian officials deny that the country's security forces are responsible for the student's death. A man claiming to be Asra Panahi's alleged uncle has said on TV that he died due to a heart condition present since birth. According to media reports, relatives of two other teenage girls who were killed during the recent protests made similar statements on state TV that the security forces were not responsible for these incidents.

Let us tell you that school girls have been the center of protests against the radical government in Iran. The government wants to crush the spirits of these women. As a result, Iranian authorities launched a series of raids on schools across the country last week and continue to torture girl students.
