New Delhi: The AAP government in Delhi is often seen patting itself on the back for its education model, but a report by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the regulatory body of higher education in the country, has exposed this education model. Actually, UGC has released a list of fake universities, in which Delhi is at the top. 8 universities of the national capital Delhi have been found to be fake. The opposition BJP has taunted the ruling AAP, saying that Arvind Kejriwal has made Delhi number-1 in the case of fake universities. At the same time, the party has also raised questions about the alleged education model of the AAP government.

According to OpIndia's report, one of these fake universities is also named AIIPPHS. The website also has a picture of Delhi CM and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and his letter signed by him. These universities called 'All India Institute of Public and Physical Health Sciences' (AIIPPHS) have been declared fake by the UGC. The letter, bearing Kejriwal's official signature, has a date of December 18, 2016, as well as his photograph. In this letter, Kejriwal has been quoted as saying, 'I am happy to know that the All India Institute of Public and Physical Health Sciences (AIIPPHS) is coming with its magazine. I am sure that under this, students will get a good opportunity to showcase their writing skills and they will get inspiration for a better future. I wish them all the best for their upcoming publication.'

AIIPPHS has also posted a certificate on its website, which is of the 'Delhi State Government Paramedical Council'. It is written in this certificate that this university is operating from its office. The address of the office is said to be near the BDO office in Alipore. It is also written that this university has also met the education standards of the council. It was recognised on April 7, 2021, and was extended a year later, then for one more year. In such a situation, the question arises that the Kejriwal government is giving recognition to the university which has been declared fake by the UGC, is there a collusion of the officials behind it? Now if there is a disturbance in the education department, then their problem can increase.
