Unusual-looking electric crossover Zeekr X has been unveiled

New Delhi: The all-new X crossover has been unveiled by EV maker Zeekr for the international markets. Its foundation is Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which is also found in vehicles such as the Lotus Elatre and Polestar 5.

This vehicle was initially known as 003. The four-wheeler is expected to debut in Europe soon after its release in China later this year.

Zeekr, an all-electric division of Chinese automaker Geely, unveiled its 001 sedan as its first EV in 2021. With the 009 and the new X, the company continues to diversify its offerings.

The crossover is built on the renowned SEA platform, which has been built for future electric vehicles, and features a sharp design language with frameless doors.

The all-new Zeekr X features a long, sculpted hood, sweptback LED headlights with integrated DRLs, a large closed-off grille, an aggressive front bumper and a wide air dam. It also has a futuristic and eccentric design language.

Frameless doors, ORVMs, flared wheel arches and designer wheels frame the sides of the EV. At the rear, the high-set connected LED taillamp is an option.

The automaker is yet to release the technical specifications of the Zeekr X electric crossover. But we expect the EV to be powered by a strong electric motor coupled to a large battery pack.

The automaker is yet to reveal the interiors of the electric crossover Zeekr X. The interior of the EV is anticipated to be spacious with a modern dashboard, premium materials for the upholstery and steering wheel, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a. A touchscreen infotainment system with digital instrument panel and connectivity options. Multiple airbags and ADAS features should be used to ensure the safety of the passengers.

In the coming months, the automaker will provide more details on the pricing and availability of the Zeekr X crossover. The crossover will be the company's first electric vehicle to go on sale in Europe.
