Lucknow: The UP government has issued a new excise policy. Under this, if you want to have more liquor than the prescribed quantity in the house, you have to take a licence from the excise department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and you have to give Rs. 12, 000 to the government as a licence every year, not only that, the government will have to give Rs. 51, 000 as security to the excise department. Action will be taken to keep more liquor in the house without a licence.

For home licences, only those who have been filing income tax for the last five years will be eligible. The receipt for filing of income tax returns will also have to be given at the time of application for a licence. Simultaneously, applicants will also have to submit a copy of pan card Aadhaar card with their application. The applicants will also have to give an affidavit in this regard, according to which entry will be prohibited at any unauthorized or under-21 age of liquor.

No illegal or unauthorized liquor or any other substance should be kept in such a place in addition to the liquor valid on the part of up. As per the new policy issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the licences of retail shops and model shops of beer and hemp will also be renewed in addition to domestic and English liquor. 5% has been increased.
