Meerut: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi are scheduled to take a six-kilometer wayfaring (Padyatra) from Jagdishpur to Harimau village in Amethi on Saturday, December 18. Congress district unit spokesperson Arvind Chaturvedi said this today. He said Rahul and Priyanka will go to Amethi by road after arriving at Amausi airport in Lucknow on the morning of December 18.

After reaching there, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi will participate in a six-kilometer wayfaring to protest against the Modi government's policies from Ramlila Maidan in Jagdishpur, the reserved assembly seat, to Harimau village. Apart from this, he has also informed that 'Rahul and Priyanka's visit to Amethi is of one day. He will also address a gathering at Harimau, the closing point of the wayfaring. The Congress has thrown all its might to make Rahul and Priyanka's wayfaring a success. In fact, Congress workers are leaving no stone unturned to welcome Rahul, who has been coming to Amethi for a long time.

On the other hand, reception gates have been set up to welcome Rahul and Priyanka. Talking about this, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee member Narendra Mishra said, "Rahul and Priyanka have a family-like relationship with Amethi. They always think and work for Amethi and its people. During the Corona period, he was at the forefront of helping their family.''
