The budget proposals for the financial year 2020-21 and the draft appropriation bill related to it will be approved in the cabinet meeting to be held on Tuesday i.e. today at Lok Bhavan under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Along with this, a dozen other proposals will get the green signal from the government.

Yogi Adityanath's cabinet may also approve the draft of the law to provide ten percent reservation in jobs to poor upper castes in UP on the lines of the central government. Till now this reservation has been implemented only through the mandate. The draft of the related bill will also be approved and this bill will be passed in this budget session.

In the cabinet meeting, the proposal to amend two sections of the UP Agricultural Produce Market Act-1964 will be approved. The cabinet meeting will approve the draft Amendment Bill-2020 in relation to the allocation of buildings under the control of the State Property Department. The proposal to transfer the building to the police department temporarily will be approved.
