Lucknow: The counting of votes is going to be held today after voting for the Uttar Pradesh elections. The election results are due on Thursday (March 10, 2022), but the atmosphere has heated up over fears of disturbance in the vote-counting before the counting of votes. On the one hand, where sp workers have gathered outside the strong room after the call given by Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav, on the other hand, farmers' leader and Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) national president and Balyan Khap's Chaudhary Naresh Tikait has also appealed to farmers to monitor their votes.

Naresh Tikait said that the fabric of society should be maintained. There should be no disturbance in the vote-counting on The 10th of March. There is a smell of dishonesty from the government. We don't want anything to go wrong. The district administration should keep its image clean. He said that he is not talking about any party, but if there is foul play and then something happens, the administration will be responsible. He said vote counting should be completely fair and transparent.  According to media reports, Naresh Tikait targeted the BJP, saying that in the panchayat elections, the party had misused power, which was seen by the whole world. In such a situation, the BJP cannot be trusted. There may also be a flurry of foul play in the vote-counting of assembly elections. In the Panchayat elections, the people were silent, but now if it happens in the Assembly elections, it will not be tolerated. Tikait said that there should be a ban on the victory procession so that there is no tension. This is for the entire state and the matter goes far from the West.

Naresh Tikait said that he wants that there should not be any rift in coordination with the administration. They have the power of the masses. Festivals are also coming and celebrate the festival with all the happiness and peace. He is apolitical and talks about the whole community. Whatever will be the scope, people will live in it. There will be people on the streets. Whoever wins, but the vote counting should be fair. In section 144, Naresh Tikait said that if the administration also imposes Section 288, then it does not have any effect. The farmers will arrive on tractors to monitor their votes.
