Lucknow: Counting of votes will be held in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow i.e. on March 10. Due to this, the sale of liquor has been banned for the whole day on March 10 to maintain law and order. According to the order issued from Lucknow, the sale and operation of liquor will remain banned throughout the day. Strict action will be taken for violation of the order.
Orders have been given to keep the liquor shop closed before the counting of votes begins on March 10, the day of counting. This order has been sent to all liquor shop owners. Along with this, the district administration and police officials will monitor the closed liquor and drug stores. The excise department in its order has clearly stated that liquor contracts will remain completely closed until the counting of votes is completed and the election results are released. In order to maintain peace during the counting of votes, all liquor shops have been ordered to remain closed before the counting of votes and till the end of the counting.
According to the excise department's order, all domestic and foreign liquor shops, godowns, bars, canteens have been ordered to remain completely closed on March 10. At the same time, all hotels, eateries, taverns, shops and any other public or private place will also be prohibited from transporting or distributing spirit-rich, alcoholic drugs.
