Gwalior: Crime has increased a lot in the country from the recent past and in the meantime, the police have achieved a major breakthrough in which a gang of jewellery and cash thefts in minutes has been busted by riding in an auto. One of the gang members is an auto driver from Gwalior. The other three members are from Agra UP. They were currently active in Jhansi. One member has been picked up by Inderganj police. The rest of the member has been nabbed by Jhansi police from Datia. A chain theft has been exposed. Soon, some jewellery and cash theft stolen in the district may be seized. Police are currently interrogating the gang members.
Inderganj police station TI Shailendra Bhargava said that a few days ago, a 72-year-old woman from Khallasipura had stolen a gold chain weighing about 1.5 Carat gold. As soon as the case was complained, the police investigated and the footage of the camera CCTV at one place showed that the auto in which the incident took place was from Thatipur area. As soon as they came to know about it, the police team nabbed the suspected driver including an auto in Thatipur. When the auto driver was questioned, he first walked around and when he showed him the footage, he confessed to carrying out the incident.
The police interrogation said that three persons from Jhansi along with him carry out the incident. As soon as the police reached Jhansi, it was found that those who were being searched by the police had already been caught in Datia two days ago. Nitin Putra Raju Kushwaha Resident Rai Colony Chandan Nagar Gwalior, who was caught in police interrogation, said that the criminals used to involve him in the incident by paying Rs 700 per day. All he had to do that he has to keep autos with criminals all day.
