Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, distributed smart phones and tablets to students on Friday, saying that they will enable them access information about job prospects and prepare for competitive exams.

"Smart phones and tablets are being provided to 1 crore schoolchildren in the state, allowing them to access free digital content." With a single click, the kids will have access to information regarding job opportunities. "The government is also establishing facilities for competitive test preparation, so kids will not have to travel outside for this," he stated.

The chief minister also inaugurated a statue of Rashtra Sant Brahamleen Mahant Avaidyanath at Guru Gorakshnath Vidyapeeth in Bharohia development block and announced the start of 20 projects totaling Rs 68 crore. 15 projects worth Rs 50.48 crore were inaugurated, while five projects worth Rs 17.31 crore had their foundation stones set. In addition, 1,000 students received tablet smart phones, with Adityanath claiming that these phones are linked to schemes such as PM Mudra, startup, standup, PM Yuva swarozgar, ODOP, and Vishwakarma Shram Samman, and that 10,000 youth will receive free coaching for competitive exams with tablet-smart phones.
