Lucknow: A big news story is coming out of Uttar Pradesh. Here, the Uttar Pradesh Police arrested Asad Kalia, another shooter of the Mafia Atiq Ahmed gang, from Prayagraj on Wednesday. Kalia is said to be a very close member of the mafia, according to Atiq. Asad Kalia was wanted in many cases. The police had declared a bounty of Rs. 50,000 on him.

SOG surrounded and arrested Atiq Ahmed's special henchmen along with Dhoomanganj and Pooramufti police. Two more of his accomplices have also been arrested. He is being questioned about various incidents. From December 2021 until now, four cases of threatening and demanding extortion have been registered against Asad.

On the same day of Asad's arrest, the police announced a reward of Rs 50,000. Recently, a video from 2019 was also aired in which Asad goes to a person's house with his companions and threatens and throws bricks from the gate. He was looking after Atiq's land business. DCP Nagar Deepak told that Asad is being arrested and interrogated. Efforts are also being made to recover the weapons at his instance.
