From Ghaziabad to Lucknow: STF spreads trap in UP Police recruitment paper leak

Lucknow: Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has given relief to lakhs of candidates by canceling the police constable recruitment examination. This decision has been taken due to alleged paper leak in the examination held on 17th and 18th February. UP STF has now prepared a list of helpers of the candidates who cheat and has started preparations to crack down on them.

Investigation of the network of arrested accused:

STF is trying to trace the network behind leaking the paper on the basis of interrogation of all the accused arrested so far. In this case, an attempt was being made to copy the female candidate Riya Chaudhary arrested from Ghaziabad through Bluetooth. Along with Riya, the police have also arrested her brother and a person named Gurbachan. It was through Gurbachan that Riya came in contact with gang leaders named Kapil Malik and Monu Malik. Monu Malik and Kapil are being said to be the leaders of the paper leaking gang in Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Arrest in Lucknow also:

Neeraj, who sent the paper on WhatsApp to candidate Satya Aman, who was caught cheating on February 18 from Krishna Nagar, Lucknow, has also been arrested by the police. During interrogation, Neeraj said that he got the paper from a person named 'Upadhyay' of Mathura, but the police has not been able to identify Upadhyay yet.

STF is investigating:

The paper leak case is being investigated by the team of Additional SP Vishal Vikram Singh in UP STF. STF has so far arrested many candidates and their helpers and their interrogation is going on. STF says that soon all the accused will be arrested in this case.
