Ranveer Singh has suffered a shoulder injury during one of his football matches. Following this injury, the Padmaavat actor won't be able to perform at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League which is kickstarting next week. 

Padmaavat actor Ranveer Singh injured himself while playing the football matches. Now, the actor won't be able to perform at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League which is going to start soon. 

His official spokesperson confirmed the news and said that After multiple medical checkups, the doctors have strongly advised Ranveer Singh not to perform at this year’s IPL opening ceremony in which he was doing the grand finale act. They feel his high-energy performance would only overstrain his shoulder and aggravate the injury. 
 
Ever since the news broke the internet, Ranveer is flooded with wishes from fans wishing him a speedy recovery. Ranveer took to Twitter to thank the fans and wrote, "Thank you for the good wishes, everyone. I’m good. It's just a labral tear in my left shoulder. I intend to come back stronger. Love you all"
 
Ranveer Singh Bhavnani is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. He is the recipient of several awards, including two Filmfare Awards, and is among the highest-paid actors in the country.
