According to the latest reports, Salman Khan's upcoming movie titled 'Bharat' in which Katrina Kaif going to pair with Salman Khan instead of Priyanka Chopra. But it was also reported earlier that Priyanka Chopra would make a comeback of sorts to Bollywood with Bharat.
A source informed a leading daily Priyanka has also worked with Ali in Gunday (2014) and shares a good rapport with him. This film will see the three of them collaborate for the first time.
Katrina Kaif and Bobby Deol’s name were being mentioned in the media for Bharat. However, Ali Abbas Zafar had rubbished the rumors and had tweeted, “The only Cast locked till now is @BeingSalmanKhan in and as #Bharat”
Katrina’s spokesperson had also denied the news earlier and had stated, "Not at all. There is no truth to this."
Ali Abbas Zafar had also said in an interview that I haven’t finalized the cast yet. But Katrina is always on my mind when I think of my film’s heroine. She is one of my closest friends and I can tell her anything, she can tell me anything. Yes, we won’t be doing all our films together but I know I can approach her whenever I feel she’s correct for the role. But right now, nothing is decided on Bharat yet.
Bharat is the Indian adaptation of the Korean movie, Ode to My Father and is slated for an Eid 2019 release.
