Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared  the final result of Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2018. The final merit list has been prepared on the basis of CDS II 2018 Exam and the interviews.

On the basis of the written exam conducted by the UPSC and the interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, a total of 100 candidates have qualified the CDS (II) 2018 exam. The merit list is available on the official website of UPSC.

UPSC had conducted the CDS II Written Exam on 18 November 2018 at various exam centres. A total of 4,729 candidates qualified in the written test. The total of 100 candidates has been shortlisted by the commission of which 60 candidates are selected for Indian Military Academy, 34 for Indian Naval Academy and 6 for Air Force Academy.

According to the official notification, the results of Medical Examination of candidates have not been taken into account in preparing the merit list. The candidature of all the candidates is Provisional. Verification of DoB  and Educational Qualification of these Candidates will be done by Army Head Quarter.

The selected candidates are eligible for admission to the 147th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course-- No. 206 F(P) Course.
