UPSC IES ISS EXAM 2021: Notification issued for examination, applications to be made from this day

Union Public Service Commission has released recruitment notification in the Indian Economic Service (IES) /2009-09. Recruitment Notification for Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Indian Economic Services (IES) Examination 2021 has been issued. All eligible candidates can apply online on UPSC portal upsconline.nic.in till April 27. UPSC IES online applications can be withdrawn from 4th May to 10th May 2021.  UPSC IES Exam 2021 is scheduled to be held on 16th July 2021 (Friday), which will last for 3 days. For this, the admit card is issued to the candidates three weeks before the examination is conducted.

Important Dates:
Date of Application for UPSC IES ISS Online: 07 April 2021
Last Date for Registration UPSC IES ISS: April 27, 2021
Online applications can be withdrawn from 04 May 2021 to 10 May 2021.
UPSC IES ISS examination will last for 3 days from 16th July 2021.

Description of Posts:
Indian Economic Service - 15 posts
Indian Statistical Service- 11 posts

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates applying for Indian Economic Services Examination have been asked to appear for the Economics/Economics Examination from a recognized university. Applied Economics/Economics Business Economics/Business Economics You should have a post-graduate degree in economics. On the other hand, candidates for The Indian Statistical Services Examination have statistics/statistics from a recognized university. Mathematical Statistics/Statistics Applied statistics should have a bachelor's degree.

Age-limit:
The age of candidates should be between 21 and 30 years.

Selection Process:
Selection of Candidates Written Test - 1000 Marks
Interview- 200 marks
